Tungsten carbide bearings are high-strength, wear-resistant components used to support rotational or reciprocating shafts in severe service environments. Manufactured from sintered cemented carbide (WC-Co or WC-Ni), these bearings offer high hardness, outstanding dimensional stability, and excellent resistance to abrasive media, thermal cycling, and corrosive chemicals. Retop provides thrust, radial, and hybrid bearing configurations, with lapped or ground surfaces for low friction and extended service life.

Carbide bearings are widely used in oil & gas drilling tools (e.g., mud motors, turbines), slurry pumps, high-pressure compressors, offshore valves, geothermal drilling, and process fluid handling equipment. They are ideal for conditions involving sand, solids-laden fluids, or gas-phase erosion, where traditional bearing materials fail due to rapid wear or deformation.
